Serenity in Siavonga

A small serene town, a destination for local and international tourists, a little slice of bliss. One can never imagine there being such a peaceful taste in the air, a much slower pace of life, especially since it's located only 3 hours away from the hustle and bustle of (usually) noisy Lusaka city centre.
Here thrives the little quaint town with an identity all of it's own. Maybe there's something in the water, maybe it's lake Kariba and the resident god Nyami Nyami colluding to release all this beautiful energy into the atmosphere. However, this visual story is a little glimpse into some of the less documented aspects, the hidden side, the real Siavonga.

Things to do in Siavonga
- Lake Kariba boat cruises
- The fish is quite cheap so we suggest buying some from the local traders and then asking a local braii/bbs master to fire it up for you.
- Beach Volleyball or Football
- Taking a hike through the woods or the area surrounding the Lake
- Camping by the beach or in the woods

If you've ever been to Siavonga please let us know in the comments about your experience.
